What is it?

Power'd Up is a ministry that seeks to train high school age students to become mature, God-centered, Christ-loving young men and women. We also desire to reach unbelieving students with the saving message of the Gospel through our ministry.

When do you meet?

Power'd Up meets on Sunday nights at 7:00pm. We meet at the church for most activities but this may be dependent on the planned activity.

Goals

We seek to develop students who are characterized by:

* A genuine love for God and Jesus Christ (Matthew 22:37)

* A clear understanding of the Gospel (Romans 3:1926; 1 Corinthians 15:16)

* Genuine assurance of salvation (Philippians 1:21; Hebrews 6:11; 2 Peter 1:1-11)

* A clear understanding of essential Bible doctrine (Psalm 119:27; 2 Timothy 2:15; 3:16-17)

* A sincere love for others (Matthew 22:39; 2 John 3:11; 4:7)

* The ability to discern spiritual truth and error (Ephesians 4:13; 1 John 4:16)

* Genuine humility and a teachable spirit (Proverbs 12:15; 19:20; James 4:6; 2 Peter 5:5)

* Submission to and respect for adults and leaders, an overall submissive and humble spirit (Romans 13:1; 1 Peter 2:13-15)

* A servant's heart (Mark 10:45-48; Philippians 2:1-11)

* Passionate worship (Psalm 42:1; Psalm 148)

* Personal holiness (2 Corinthians 7:1; 1 Peter 1:16; 1 John 3:3)

* Sincere obedience (1 John 2:3; John 14:15)

* True joy in Christ (John 15:11; Philippians 3:1; 4:4)

* Regular personal prayer (Matthew 6:56; 1 Thessalonians 5:17)

* Regular evangelism (Matthew 28:18-20; 2 Peter 2:11)
